The John Stamos Project was formed in the winter of 1999. Hailing from Long Island, NY, their sound is reminiscent of bands such as The Ramones, The Queers, Screeching Weasel, etc.

2001 saw the release of "Take Your Best Shot" on Reinforcement Records, and in 2004 Knock Knock Records released the classic "North American All-Stars" EP.

Both records have received favorable reviews from Maximum RNR and Punk Planet alike; that's not an easy thing to do. 3 chords, hooks galore, and attitude have put JSP at the top of their league. Look for a split CD with The Skrewballs later this year, and a brand new full-length in 2006.
